important in your life? Is it God? How about your kids? What about money? A treasure is a valuable object that can be either physical or spiritual. Max Lucado suggests a great activity when discussing treasures:**Make a list of things the world treasures.**Which of these do you treasure?**What does God treasure?**How can you better spend your time and money to reflect what God treasures? And something we discussed in BSF last year—“If the way we spend our time reveals what we consider our greatest treasure, how does the way I spend my time reveal my treasure?”Ouch! Yes, I am probably stepping on toes today. Do you see some things in your life that you need to reprioritize? I know I do!How do you show Jesus that He is your treasure? How might God be asking you to share that treasure? If we want to show others Jesus and what we value or treasure most, then we need to be the same person inside and out. If Jesus is our treasure, then we need to try to seek His purpose in everything we do. The NIV Life Application Study Bible says that “if Jesus is gone from our lives, everything else becomes useless no matter how valuable it may seem.” Wow, that is something to really think about.
