My Lifetime Story Challenge 50 - I Believe In Miracles

It is hard to believe that we are nearing the end of our year of My Lifetime Story Challenges!
2010 is drawing to an end and so is this weekly challenge. But never fear! Our stories will continue and so will this challenge. We plan to continue to add challenges to this My Lifetime Story album!
This week is all about Miracles. There seems no better time to talk about Miracles than right here at Christmas as we reflect on the miraculous birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Miracles are hard to believe. Usually, they don't make sense. Many times people have a hard time believing in miracles and try to prove them with natural reasonsing. Do you believe in miracles?
Here are some miracles from the bible:
Read Luke 5:4-7
Read Acts 16:24-26
Read John 4:46-54
Read Matthew 14
These are just a few examples of miracles. God performed many miracles in bibile times. Do you believe that God still performs miracles today?
"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever" ~Hebrew 13:8
This week journal about why you believe in miracles. Start your journaling out "I believe in miracles because... then tell the story of a miracle or miracles you have witnessed or heard about.
It is important that we help our future generations to see the stories of God's power displayed in our lives, it will build their faith to believe that He will intervene in miraculous ways in their lives too.
Be sure to follow this challenge in our forum and post your page in our gallery under the appropriate category! If you are a digital scrapbooker, be sure to find some great products in our shop to help you with your project!

2. Use three photos. (Try to make them all close-ups – really zoom that camera – or crop tool – in close)

Hey ya'll we might get some SNOW !

Raleigh, N.C. — The Triangle could see a trace to 2 inches of snow Thursday morning, and areas northward could see up to 3 inches. Those south of the Triangle will most likely see sleet and freezing rain, according to WRAL meteorologist Elizabeth Gardner.

"The farther you get toward Virginia, the more of that there may be," she said. "There could be some slick roads around the area tomorrow. It should all change to rain by about lunchtime."

The precipitation is expected to begin around 6 a.m.
North Carolina Department of Transportation crews were gearing up for the possibility of icy conditions. They started laying a pre-treatment brine solution – a mixture of water and salt – to Interstate 40 and Interstate 440 Tuesday
Temperature Track

"Because it's so cold and the ground's so cold, it won't take a lot of precipitation to cause problems on the road Thursday morning," said WRAL meteorologist Nate Johnson.

Verse of the day- December 13th, 2010

Good morning!
I had a great Weekend to GOD be the glory!

“When he had called together all the people’s chief priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Messiah was to be born. “In Bethlehem in Judea,” they replied, “for this is what the prophet has written: “‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for out of you will come a ruler who will shepherd my people Israel.’”” - Matthew 2:4-6

Aretha Franklin battling pancreatic cancer: Singer 'doing better than doctors expected' (We need to keep Aretha Franklin in Prayers)
Following news of Aretha Franklin's cancer diagnosis, the legendary singer's cousin said she is "doing better than doctors expected" and will be released from the hospital this weekend.

Brenda Corbett said Franklin "has a long life in front of her and will be back in concert, on stage, late spring or early summer," according to the Detroit Free Press.

Reverend Jesse Jackson has visited the Detroit native in the hospital several times since her surgery, and told the Detroit News that she is "recovering, and her spirits are high. She's doing very well. She's very prayerful."

In November, the Hall of Fame singer announced she was taking a six month break per her doctor's orders. She canceled all upcoming performances and personal appearances, but did not reveal her illness.
When news broke last week that Franklin, 68, was undergoing an unspecified medical procedure, she received an enormous outpouring of support from concerned fans worldwide.
"The surgery was highly successful," she said the day after. "God is still in control. I had superb doctors and nurses whom were blessed by all the prayers of the city and the country. God bless you all for your prayers!"
Soon after her surgery, however, The Detroit News learned from sources close to the singer's family that Franklin is battling incurable pancreatic cancer.
The National Enquirer suggested the singer's diagnosis was actually made several months ago, when she visited her doctor after slipping in the shower.
The Enquirer "claims doctors made the glum diagnosis after Aretha broke her ribs in a shower fall over the summer," reported Popcrunch.
While the singer's family has remained understandably quiet about addressing Franklin's specific diagnosis, the possibility of losing this music icon would be an unfathomable loss to the music community.
"This would be as tragic as it gets," Brian Pastoria, a Detroit studio operator who has worked with Franklin several times, told the Detroit Free Press.
"Aretha has inspired so many artists, so many people, all while being such a great ambassador for Detroit." he added. "I hope she can miraculously beat this, because we need her spirit moving forward."
